Slab-on-grade foundations are popular in Henderson because our climate does not typically require deep frost footings. These foundations rest directly on the ground with a thickened edge that serves as the footing. For buildings that need maximum strength, we install stem wall foundations. These have separate concrete footings below frost depth, concrete or block walls, and a concrete slab.
